Kimberly Cremers, PharmD, is a pharmacist, Certified Executive Coach, and humanitarian with over 25 years of experience in medical affairs within the pharmaceutical and biotech industry. With decades of experience across Medical Affairs, field leadership, and organizational development, she brings a thoughtful, practical approach to helping people grow with clarity and confidence.

 

Her work is grounded in the belief that people do their best when they feel supported, prepared, and aligned with their purpose. Kim founded Petrichor Coaching & Consulting to offer grounded guidance to those building Medical Affairs teams, developing their careers, or exploring pathways into the industry. Her approach blends strategic insight with a coaching mindset, creating space for reflection, growth, and meaningful progress.

Kim's Experience

Kim’s career spans more than two decades in pharma and biotech, where she led Medical Affairs teams, developed MSLs, and supported organizations through product launches and strategic transitions. She has worked with global and emerging companies across multiple therapeutic areas, giving her a broad, nuanced understanding of what Medical Affairs teams need to thrive.

As a Certified Executive Coach, Kim partners one‑on‑one with professionals across the pharmaceutical sector, supporting career transitions, leadership development, and alignment between personal values and professional goals. Her thoughtful, practical style helps clients gain clarity, confidence, and momentum in their careers.

Kim also serves as a Success Coach for Harvard Medical School’s Senior Executive Programs, where she facilitates discussions, provides individualized coaching, and hosts conversations with industry leaders—including CEOs and CMOs—who share insights from their professional journeys. Her work in this setting reflects her ability to connect strategic thinking with human‑centered development.

Aligned with her passion for teaching, Kim instructs the Introduction to the Pharmaceutical Industry elective at The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy. This graduate‑level course gives PharmD students a comprehensive view of the pharmacist’s role across the drug development continuum, from early research through Commercial and Medical Affairs.

 

In addition to coaching and teaching, Kim provides Medical Affairs consulting, offering strategic guidance, training, and executional support to organizations looking to establish, optimize, or expand their Medical Affairs and MSL teams. Drawing on decades of in‑house experience across both field‑based and headquarters roles, she brings practical insight and steady leadership to every engagement.

Humanitarian & Community Work

Kim is a dedicated humanitarian, regularly devoting her time to both local and global causes. She has undertaken six field assignments as a pharmacist with Doctors Without Borders, serving in Swaziland, South Sudan, Gaza, Liberia, and Uganda. Additionally, her volunteer efforts extend to various areas, including providing foster care and working as a child advocate, mentoring, and serving in Board roles. In her leisure time, she enjoys traveling, spending quality time with friends and family, and engaging in outdoor activities.
