Road warriors may struggle with staying healthy on the road. It can be related to the grab and go meals between meetings or the lack of space in your suitcase for workout shoes. Building and maintaining healthy habits is critical to being your best self. In the wise words of Jim Rohn, “Take care of your body. it’s the only place you have to live.” Here are a few of my practices:

  • I bring a water bottle to ensure water is easily accessible.

  • I use a sleep mask when the sun wakes up before me.

  • I wear my workout shoes while traveling as they take up more space in my bag than my dress shoes.

  • Packing healthy snacks keeps me from grabbing a candy bar (most of the time anyway).

  • Resistance bands fit easily into my suitcase if I won’t have time for a full workout or decide to workout in my room.

Pretty easy and a bit basic but they work! What are your tips and tricks for ensuring you maintain your healthy lifestyle on the road? When traveling, what is your trick for finding quick, healthy meals when driving from meeting to meeting?
