Navigating and implementing FDA Guide is a bit of an art. While the 2025 Scientific Information on Unapproved Uses (SIUU) clarified several areas of the draft guidance, some outstanding questions remain.
The Scientific Exchange competency team of the Medical Affairs Professional Society (MAPS) Medical Governance & Compliance domain is working to provide clarity on SIUU. We have ideas on a variety of topics we believe would be valuable to include but we would like to hear what topics you’re working to navigate.
Does SIUU fit solely in the medical space or are is commercial having these conversations?
Are abstracts/slides/posters from congress meetings an acceptable source information for SIUU?
